Warrior Rush Important Race Info and Rules 2017

ELITE/COMPETITIVE DIVISION INFO
– Brief mandatory meeting at 7:45AM Start time 8:00AM
– This is an official timed wave.
– You are NOT permitted to help other athletes. This is a competitive wave.
– You must successfully overcome each obstacle. You may reattempt several times.
– Don’t CHEAT. Cheaters NEVER WIN.
– If you give up…GAME OVER! Surrender your wristband at the finish line, you will get an open/recreational medal.

DIRT RUNNER XTREME 6HRS DIVISION INFO
– Brief mandatory meeting at 8:10AM Start time 8:15AM
– This is an official timed wave.
– Unlimited laps for 6 HOURS. How many laps can you overcome from 8:15AM – 2:15PM
– You must successfully complete each obstacle. You may reattempt several times.
– If you CAN’T complete each obstacle, you will have to do 20 lovely Chest to the ground/push up Burpees.
– Don’t CHEAT. Cheaters NEVER WIN.
– If you give up…GAME OVER! Finish your run and surrender your wristband at the finish line.
– You can run with your friends. Teamwork is important.
– You are permitted to help other D.R.X athletes.
– You can run the course more than 2 times if your heart and body desires.
– D.R.X Challenge will test your strength, endurance, speed, and mental grit.
– Unfortunately, the shenanigans end at 2:15PM with the last wave/heat going out on the course.

OPEN/RECREATIONAL DIVISION INFO
– Start times anytime between 10AM AND 12PM.
– Give your best shot overcoming the obstacles.
– If you CAN’T complete each obstacle, you will have to do 10 lovely BURPEES.
– If you feel the obstacles are too hard help your teammates to overcome them.
– You can run with your friends. Teamwork is important.
– Be adventurous, have fun and get your dirt on.
– Open/Recreational waves are not officially timed.

13 Tips for Mud Run Rookies

– Hydrate.
– Wear the appropriate shoes and clothes for the race.
– Bring food and beverages.
– Skip your work out the day before and get some rest. You will need it.
– Choose your division/wave wisely.
– Pay attention on the course signs while running.
– There’s a good chance you will be very dirty!
– Bring extra clothes and shoes. We got Showers to clean up!
– More supplies like bug spray and sunscreen lotion are strongly recommended.
– Bring CASH if you would like to get some food or register for the race on site.

***Anyone under the age of 18 must have a legal guardian present to sign the waiver (participant, or spectator). Aunts, uncles, grandparents, and friends of the parents do not count. If a legal guardian cannot be present on day of event, the waiver must be signed by the legal guardian and notarized in advance.

SPECTATORS: Receive free entry passes, but you need to sign waivers before entering the event area.

Dirt Runner allows outside food and beverages, so everyone is encouraged to bring their own grills and make an all day picnic out of it. If you want to camp at Dirt Runner fairgrounds, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance.

NOTICE: Dirt Runner is located on an active Off Road Park. Our trail is marked very well and mostly separated from other trails, but it intersects/crosses motorcycle, ATV, and jeep trails at many points. When you sign our waiver, you accept the remote risk of a possible collision and injury.

The race is held rain or shine – the more rain the more mud and the more fun it is! We will do everything possible to ensure all racers can get through the course safely – including delaying heat times, pausing the race, or postponing the race in the extremely rare case of extreme/unsafe weather. All weather decisions are made by Dirt Runner on-site staff.

NO REFUNDS for inclement weather or if severe weather does not allow the event to be held.
NO REFUNDS if you don’t show up at all!
TRANSFERS take place 24 hours in advance of racing event.

A photo ID is required to pick up your race packet.

Be sure to allow enough time to check in before your start time. We recommend participants arrive AT LEAST ONE HOUR before their start time.

Dirt Runner, it’s affiliates, host sites, employees and volunteers are not responsible for any lost or stolen items. You can leave your stuff in your car.

Pets are allowed on racing and training events at Dirt Runner.They have to be on a leash all time and clean you have to clean up after them. Thank you!!!

During the event there will be water stations setup along the course. Beverages and snacks will be available after you cross the finish line. Plan ahead and bring a hydration system and/or energy supplements (bars/gels) if you think you will need them.

Dirt Runner is a weapon-free, and illegal drug free zone venue. Keep those belongings somewhere else. Thank you!!!
